Through our exceptionally professional driven team, CEIs mission is to bring 400Mw electrical energy by 2035 to the West Africa people, using the very best available technology and resources available, in solar, wind and hydro, at a price, which is affordable to all.

Andrew Charles Darby GradCIPM MISM BPS

Andrew, now in his 50th something year, says his best days has been his wedding and at the birth of both his sons, who he cannot believe they are now, in their early 20s.

During his working life, he has had a wealth of experience of exciting challenging and opportunities, in both the Military, Public and private sector, in many parts of the world, which he has taken, in his stride. 

Having served, in both the Royal Airforce and British Army, in many sensitive and difficult situations, he then moved over to the Civil Service, within the Ministry of Defence, holding various posts, serving for several years.

At which point he then moved over, setting up his own successful company, having sold out to a large corporate in late 2009.  In the interim, carrying out significant specialist consultancy work, leading to the setting up CEI, having seen the extreme need and opportunities of renewable energy in West Africa.

In raising to all these challenges set Infront of him, he has achieved many successful outcomes.  In his spare time, when not helping his boys, as a taxi service or doing the gardening, he is involved in military aviation restoration.  

He is very proud of CEI achievements and optimistic about the future, in renewable Energy, for West Africa, in that great leaps forward will be made, with lifting the lives of people opportunities, over the next few years.
